Sector Plan Info
This web app is designed for cellular radio planners. It can be used to quickly created an RF configuration plan which can then be fine tuned in a planning tool.
Add a BTS Site
The "+" button on the bottom-right of the screen adds a site to the plan. The new site will be placed in the middle of the map and will have the default configuration.
Rename a BTS Site
The pencil icon on each site's header can be used to rename the site.
Parameters
Pressing the ">" button on a site's header, will open the sector settings panels for that site. Parameters can be changed by manually inputting the value, adjusting the slidder or by dragging handles (black circles) on the map.
Locks
Each of a sector's parameters can be locked to the value of the first sector by setting the lock button next to the parameter. For "Azimuth" the lock keeps a fixed offset to the first sector.
Tilt
The refresh button next to each tilt value will calculate the down tilt angle from the antenna to the point at the end of the beam (where the azimuth handle is). This is done using the ground heights and the above-ground-level (AGL) of the antenna.
Add a Sector to a Site
At the bottom of the last sector's settings panel, there is a "+" button for adding more sectors to the site.
Defaults
In the menu dialog (pink button on top-right) there are buttons to:
-set the current map view as default (map type, map center, zoom level).
-set the the currently selected site as default for newly created sites (all sectors and their settings).
Export
In the menu dialog (pink button on top-right) A list of the configurations is created for easy copy-paste into a spreadsheet. There is a choice of a line for: each sector or each site.
Tip: Adjust the size of the sector settings panels with your browser's zoom.
